Ubisoft Assassins Creed Liberation will soon be inaccessible - Delisted on Steam

Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is currently delisted on Steam, but it seems even players with this version can no longer play it starting this September.

The following was posted as an announcement on the Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Steam page:

Notice on Ubisoft Assassins Creed Liberation will soon be inaccessible

The game does not appear on Ubisoft Connect’s storefront, but it is available on the Ubisoft store’s website as of this writing. If it is being delisted from Steam, it is unknown when the game will become available on Steam though.

Ubisoft released one of the Assassin’s Creed games called Assassin’s Creed Liberation. It is one of the many titles within this franchise. It was ported to the PS Vita before and then launched in HD on PC in 2014.

Two entries from the list of games Ubisoft is closing online support for, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD and Silent Hunter 5, look like they’re going to be rendered fully inoperable by the move, contradicting Ubisoft’s first statement on what facets of each game would be taken down.
